TSH is proud to announce they are part of a winning team in the Toronto Urban Design Awards 2007.
Held every other year, these awards acknowledge and promote the contribution that architects, landscape architects and others make in promoting design excellence. These awards draw attention to the role that urban design plays in making the city a livable one.
TSH is part of the Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. (MVVA) team, working on the prestigious Port Lands Estuary project. This project won an Award of Excellence in the Visions and Master Plans category.
This exciting project will transform the Lower Don Lands - an important part of Toronto that has been long neglected. The MVVA team’s design addresses the Waterfront's key objectives for the area, which include naturalizing the Don River and creating a comprehensive plan for addressing urban design, transportation, naturalization, sustainability and other ecological issues of the area.
TSH is providing civil, transportation, marine recreation, structural, and utility engineering services for this project. For more details on TSH’s involvement, please see here.
