Sault Ste. Marie, completion of the new transportation corridor.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie and its Provincial and Federal partners cut the ribbon signifying the completion of the City’s new transportation corridor (ie: Carmen’s Way). Dignitaries from all three levels of government gathered in Sault Ste. Marie on September 29th to commemorate the completion of this important road corridor that was designed primarily to facilitate the efficient movement of trucks between the international bridge and Highways 17 east and north. The $19 M new route will reduce the volume of trucks routed through the City’s downtown core. TSH was the lead consultant for the southern portion of the project and provided preliminary design, detail design and contract administration and inspection services.
