TSH Provides Training in Paramics Micro-Simulation
Model
TSH recently conducted
a three day training program in the use of the Quadstone
Paramics micro-simulation model. The training was provided
in Toronto on April 20-22, 2005 to ten representatives
from municipal and provincial governments and consulting
firms from across North America. Paramics is a state
of the art traffic micro-simulation tool used world-wide
for the analysis of complex traffic systems. The program
was developed and organized in collaboration with the
model developers, Quadstone Ltd.
TSH has applied the Paramics model in
a number of studies in Ontario involving local and freeway
road networks, and is fully accredited to offer similar
training on behalf of Quadstone Ltd. Based on the interest
received to date, future training sessions are being
considered for late fall of 2005 or early spring 2006.
