TSH to assist in the design of a new
truck assembly line for General Motors
General Motors has engaged TSH to assist
in the design of the new truck assembly line in their
Oshawa Truck Plant. TSH work includes the design of
work stations for new assembly tools and associated
structural, mechanical and electrical services to the
tools. TSH is also assisting in schedule monitoring.
TSH had designed the previous truck plant assembly line
for General Motors in 1998 and was able to produce the
first new workstation designs within two weeks of starting,
ready for the Christmas 2005 shutdown. Project design
and construction will be complete in time for the model
roll-out in the summer of 2006.
