TSH President Honored with Industry Award

Doug Allingham, President of TSH, has been awarded the prestigious H. Robert Burton Distinguished Service Award from the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers (CITE). This highly coveted award is presented yearly to an individual in the transportation industry, who has contributed significantly to CITE.

CITE is the Canadian division of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) – a network of over 17,000 transportation professionals from more than 92 countries. ITE is an educational and scientific association that facilitates the application of technology and scientific principles to the research, planning, functional design, implementation, operation, policy development and management for all modes of transportation.

Doug’s contributions to CITE have spanned a 28 year period. He has served in all positions of the organization’s executive, most recently as District Director. Doug has worked diligently to bring together the membership of CITE, organizing numerous meetings and networking opportunities for industry professionals.

As President of TSH, Doug has shared his industry knowledge with clients and staff, and applied the very knowledge he has helped to cultivate, to TSH projects.
