TSH Vice President elected as ITE International President 

TSH Vice President, Alf Guebert P. Eng., has been elected as International President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), for 2008. ITE is an international educational and scientific association of transportation professionals who are responsible for meeting mobility and safety needs. Mr. Guebert has a long association with ITE, having served as Founding President, Saskatoon Section (1989–1993); Canadian District Executive Committee (1993–2001); and on the International Board of Direction (2001–2003). His current executive committee responsibilities began with his being elected as Vice President in 2007, and will conclude with the position of past President in 2009.

During his term on the Executive Committee, Mr. Guebert has been focusing on promoting technical excellence, transportation safety, workforce development and international growth. Mr. Guebert’s efforts will ensure that ITE remains a valuable resource to members and an organization of choice for transportation professionals from around the world.
