TSH employee to present paper at WEFTEC 2008. 

Mike Gundry, P.Eng., will present his paper entitled “Improving Energy and Environmental Efficiency at Wastewater Treatment Facilities” at the 81st annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), being held this year in Chicago IL. 

WEFTEC is the annual conference of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and it attracts more than 18,000 water quality experts from around the world.  It is North America’s largest exhibition and conference on water quality and waste­water treatment technology and the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world. 

Mr. Gundry’s paper investigates some potential energy savings and green technologies that are feasible for use at wastewater treatment facilities and also reviews a case study which was focused on energy saving alternatives at a wastewater treatment plant.
